Nu Quantum, a quantum networking company based in Cambridge, has announced the appointment of Dr Maria Maragkou as its new Vice President of Business Development.
In her role, Dr Maragkou will spearhead the company’s business development strategy, cultivate a robust partner ecosystem, and facilitate the next phase of commercial growth.
Dr Maragkou holds a PhD in quantum optics from the University of Southampton. Her career includes postdoctoral research as a Marie Curie Fellow in both Madrid and Paris. Following her research endeavours, she served as a senior editor at Nature Photonics and Nature Materials before transitioning into the quantum industry.
Prior to joining Nu Quantum, Dr Maragkou was the Vice President of Commercial at Riverlane, where she played a pivotal role in product and business development, shaping the company’s global partnerships and go-to-market strategies.
