Upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference for South & Central Regions Scheduled for May 1-2

The Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) for the South and Central Gujarat regions is set to take place in Surat on May 1 and 2. This event will be led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alongside Chief Minister of Gujarat Bhupendra Patel.

As stated in a release from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), VGRCs are designed to foster regional industrial growth, attract sector-specific investments and enhance global engagements. This initiative aligns with the broader vision of Viksit Bharat@2047, aiming to transform local industries into global competitors through enhanced market recognition and strategic partnerships.

The conferences will not only act as platforms to showcase regional accomplishments and announce new initiatives but will also serve as vital instruments for co-creating Gujarat’s growth narrative. By empowering regional economies, promoting innovation, and facilitating strategic investments, VGRCs aim to bolster the state’s economic landscape.

Outcomes from the VGRCs are set to be featured in the forthcoming Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit.

Focusing on the districts in the South Gujarat region, the conference will highlight Bharuch, Dang, Navsari, Surat, Tapi, and Valsad. Additionally, districts from the Central Gujarat region, including Ahmedabad, Anand, Chhotaudepur, Dahod, Gandhinagar, Kheda, Mahisagar, Narmada, Panchmahal, and Vadodara, will also be prominently featured.

This VGRC coincides with Gujarat Sthapana Divas, marking a significant occasion for the region.

In conjunction with the conference, the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Exhibition will be held. This exhibition will include a Vendor Development Programme, an International Reverse Buyer Seller Meet, and the Udyami Mela, as per the release.
